What are Stabiles?

A stabile is a free-standing kinetic mobile that sits on a flat surface. No need to hang it, you simply display it and enjoy. The word "stabile" was coined by the Dadaist Jean (Hans) Arp in 1931 for Alexander Calder, the founder of art mobiles and stabiles.

Stabiles add delightful color and graceful movement to your coffee table, shelf, desktop, or countertop, for your home and office decor.
